The major market for this type of cellulose is carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC), methyl cellulose (MC) and hydroxy ethyl cellulose (HEC). Examples of important end-uses demanding high quality specialty cellulose are constructrion and building products, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetic and personal care, paper coating, oil drilling and coatings.
